A Little About Me
“There is nothing better than capturing life’s little magical moments!!! Rather it be, the flirting of the future bride with her fiancé as I shoot their engagement pictures, or the giggles of a playful child during a family portrait shoot. I steal that sweet moment and capture it forever.”
As a Colorado Native, I cannot imagine a better backdrop than our beautiful outdoors. I enjoy my outdoor photo shoots the most! So many unpredictable, amazing little, magical things have happened during my photo shoots. I once had a butterfly land playfully on a beautiful, young lady….as I was shooting her senior pictures. I had the young lady sitting in a gorgeous bed of wildflowers….and this butterfly continued to play by landing on my subject’s fingers, hair, face and nose! Once during a family portrait shoot at the Broadmoor, a few deer poked their heads into the background of the photo shoot…as I snapped the picture “Click” “Click”! I have also had some amazing skies, clouds and sunsets as backdrops also that seemed magical too.
Photography for me is how I express my creative and artistic side. My love of people, children, babies, and even nature can all come together in my passion to be creative when I step behind the lens. And to have Colorado as a backdrop…..what could be more beautiful?! I can’t honestly think of anything greater than being a photographer! I would like to think of myself as a photographer who captures real life moments, that tell a story. I think that it is my job to highlight your assets when creating your portraits, and downplay anything that you may be self conscious about. I can do this with lighting, positioning, and editing.
All sessions can be done at the location of your choice, or in a studio for the special moment and memory that you want to create. Whatever fits your style? When choosing a location for your photo shoot; it should be somewhere that fits your personality and is uniquely you. I can give you many suggestions and ideas to try and help you decide.
